Callum’s work was among only 45 chosen for exhibition from over 1500 entries nationwide. He also received a “Highly Commended” award. He is also pictured with Martin Rogan, CEO of Mental Health Ireland.
Our Transition Year students with the help of their coordinators, Mr. Madden and Ms. Beirne successfully organised a table quiz for our local post primary schools. After 10 close rounds, Colaist Bhaile Chlair emerged as the winners of the €500 prize kindly sponsored by Avis car hire.

On our final day before the Christmas holidays, Ms O’Shea coordinated a carol service attended by the whole school. Well done to the choir, readers and Ms O’Shea for a very enjoyable performance.
The lunchtime soccer league coordinated by Mr. Curran came to its conclusion before Christmas. This has been taking place during lunchtime since the beginning of the year. Well done to everyone who took part and the Transition Years for assisting in the running of the finals.
