Transition Year
The school operates an optional Transition Year programme for students who have completed their Junior Cycle education. This one-year educational programme offers the potential for the holistic development of young people as flexible learners, active citizens and future workers. It places an emphasis on personal development, social awareness and increased social competence.
Students taking this option are given the chance to follow, without the pressure of State examinations, a school-developed course of study including the following modules:
